“What are days for?

Days are where we live.
They come, they wake us
Time and time over.
They are to be happy in:
Where can we live but days?

Ah, solving that question
Brings the priest and the doctor
In their long coats
Running over the fields.”
– Days, by Philip Larkin

What a lovely way to start my day–thank you.

  3. I love looking at your shots of Edinburgh. And thank you for introducing me to that Larkin poem.

  4. Beautiful. The last one feels like looking at a real sunrise. Sunspots in my eyes.

    • Thank you – sometimes timing is in our favour. I’d love to try and catch the sun rise from on a mountain. That would be quite something.

  5. Your photos make me want to go back to New Mexico!

  6. I am from New Mexico… Beautiful!
