Since I recently finished “Life after Life,” I was interested to read your review. You make some thoughtful comments that caused me to examine how I felt about the book. As Ursula relives her life, I found it revealing and poignant to witness how small, ordinary decisions can affect (and alter) fate or the course of a life. That is what lingers with me and made the book a worthwhile read. Also wanted to say I loved your introductory paragraph to this review. Kind regards.

What you write is so beautiful. I agree on Atkinson, agree on tadpoles, agree on the 16 degrees’ benchmark, and not least agree on the importance “a room of one’s own”!
